Lending Library
Upside of Downs of Aiken has a variety of books, videos and DVDs available to families, caregivers, educators, health care professionals, and individuals with Down syndrome. Most materials are specifically related to Down syndrome, others are general but may prove to be beneficial in the lives of people with Down syndrome. This collection contains information on topics such as teaching strategies, medical concerns, development, parenting and much more. A children's section is also available.

Lending Library Policies
Upside of Downs of Aiken Lending Library is a free service. Materials are available for check-out at our monthly meetings, or arrangements may be made to pick them up from our office. The lending period is 3 months from the day the materials are picked up, although if you finish with the material we would welcome you to return it early. In order to maintain a variety of titles in each category, we ask that you limit your selections to 3 resources per lending period. We also ask that you complete the check out form so we can keep track of our resources.
Borrowers Responsibility
Borrowers assume responsibility for all materials borrowed from the Upside of Downs of Aiken Lending Library. Materials that are lost, stolen or destroyed are the borrower's responsibility to pay for replacement.
