World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day is Monday, March 21st. 3/21 was selected as World Down Syndrome Day to represent the three copies of the 21st chromosome. We hope you will find a way to celebrate all that is special about each individual with Down syndrome.

There are several ways you can participate in celebrating World Down Syndrome Day.
#RandomActsofKindness or #RAK One simple act of kindness can have a lasting impact. One random act of kindness can create a ripple effect as recipients pay it forward and experience the joy of anonymous giving. .
Down Syndrome International also has initiatives you may want to participate in.
#LotsofSocks We want to get people talking about WDSD on 21 March! We can do this if we all wear socks…BUT NOT JUST ANY SOCKS…wear Official LOTS OF SOCKS socks, other brightly coloured socks, long socks, printed socks, 1 sock… even 3 socks for 3 chromosomes. If you don’t normally wear socks, then wear them. #LOTSOFSOCKS
